In collaboration with Kyoto University, we offer trekking tours in Ashiu Forest, a research forest. These tours are designed to minimize the impact on the natural environment, with carefully selected routes planned by our local certified guides.
We work with the local community to preserve and carry on traditional events such as the rice planting festival and harvest festival held at the thatched-roof village.

Thatched roof might be the most sustainable roofing systems. After being replaced, the old thatch is used as organic fertilizer , returning back to the soil.
